Most guests use a car or rideshare—streets are walkable for short, local trips but the island is long so driving is easiest. Town of Ocean City seasonal transit includes the Beach Bus and local fixed-route buses; DART Resort Transit provides connections to nearby Delaware in peak season. BayRunner and private shuttles offer scheduled service to/from BWI and Salisbury. Salisbury–Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport (SBY) is the closest commercial airport; taxis, rideshares and shuttle services connect SBY and Ocean City. Amtrak serves Salisbury (about 28–30 miles); last-mile travel from the station requires a taxi, rideshare or shuttle. Seasonal water options (OC Bay Hopper / water taxi) operate on the bay for some routes in peak months.
